NEW HORIZONS AND EVEN BEYOND

Allow 30-40 minutes preparation time

This session invites us to consider what are the important issues for Asia Pacific Good Shepherd Mission that we need to be mindful of as a collective group. The main part of preparation for this session involves reflecting back on the material from the last five sessions and considering “What do WE consider to be the issues important to Asia Pacific?”

Questions for Reflection:

Our reflection at this point should help us identify and consider the collective picture of Good Shepherd Mission, and our personal contribution to the future. Use your journal to record your thoughts for later reference:

When you engaged with the pre-assembly information from sessions 1-5, what did you sense about the vibrancy, energy and blind spots of Good Shepherd Asia Pacific?

Draw three circles-

  1. See: What have you seen or heard in the Pre-Assembly Pack Material? This question invites us to think with our heads/ mind.

  2. Feel: What did you feel when you engaged with this material? Why? This question invites us to use the capacity of our heart to respond.

  3. Sense: What do you sense is emerging from the material? This question invites us to think from the perspective of the Universe or Divine. What are we being called to at this moment or next?

Congratulations!

You have finished the preparation for the Asia Pacific Regional Assembly!

Thank you so much for preparing with your head, heart and will open so fully.

The last preparations involve you being well rested and in a mindset ready to share with others in Mission with Good Shepherd.

Rest well till Monday 10 August when we join together for our Regional Assembly.
